A live storytelling and improv show centered on one father’s origin story.
The performance features a dad (Nick Ross), who is also an improviser, sharing three chapters of his life, who he was before becoming a father, what it was like meeting his child for the first time, and who he is now. These stories pull back the curtain on the improviser, giving the audience access to the personal experiences that shaped the performer they see on stage but rarely hear about.
After each section, a cast of improvisers builds an Armando-style set inspired directly by the story, creating scenes in real time that reflect, heighten, and play off those moments. The show moves between honest storytelling and grounded, character-driven comedy.
The pilot will feature performers including Lucas Budde and Eric Thompson, with additional guest improvisers such as Lauren Barash or members of the featured performer’s team.
