Featuring Barkley (8pm) from Rise Comedy, Hello Comrade (7pm) from Flipside Theatre, and the wildly theatrical Shake It Up Shakespeare (7pm), this show throws the script out the window and follows the laughs wherever they lead. Six fearless teams enter the arena. Two chaotic heats. And prizes. Of course there are prizes. In the first round, Improv duos will battle through a blazing-fast five-minute scene. And they will be scored by the 5 judges - how will they decide? Who knows? It’s up to them. Three teams will rise. Three will fall. The weak will be scene-ed into oblivion. But it doesn’t stop there. In the final crushing round, the pressure cranks to eleven as the surviving trios unleash ten grueling minutes of long-form improv. But only one team’s cuisine will reign supreme. There can only be one champion! The question is who’s improv bake-off will take off? Who will taste the delicious ooze of victory and who will cry in the green room? This isn’t just improv.
